Life Support Training

We offer Heartsaver First Aid, BLS, ACLS, and PALS* certification. Our courses and instructors are certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) and includes hands-on training and assessment.

BLS + CPR Certification $85

Description

The Basic Life Support (BLS) + CPR course is a 4-hour hands-on training designed for healthcare professionals, but useful for everyone. An AHA-certified instructor will teach you the theory behind BLS and guide you to apply what you’ve learned onto CPR manikins. (a ‘manikin’ is a mannequin used for CPR instruction)

$85 for initial certification or renewal; $76.50 when combined with ACLS. 

Instructional videos followed by instructor lectures, ending with hands-on practice.

Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 8 AM to 12 PM.

Wednesdays & Saturdays 8 AM – 12 PM or 12 PM – 4 PM.

Description

The Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course is an 8-hour certification that can be used by healthcare professionals to deliver a more effective life support strategy in a hospital setting. This course is taught by an AHA-certified instructor. ACLS certification is essential for healthcare professionals that work in emergency situations like nurses, EMTs, and paramedics. Recertification is a separate 4-hour course.

$225 for initial training (first time); $150 for recertification.
Prerequisites: A valid BLS/CPR Certification is required to take this course.

Initial Training on Mondays from 8 AM to 5 PM (includes optional 1-hour lunch break). Recertification takes place on Tuesdays from 8 AM to 12 PM.

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 8 AM – 4 PM (optional 1-hour lunch break extends the class until 5 PM). Saturdays by appointment.

Description

The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course is an 8-hour certification for healthcare professionals who expect to work with children. An AHA-certified instructor will teach this course; recertification is a separate course that lasts 4 hours. PALS is strongly encouraged or required for doctors, nurses, paramedics, ICU staff, and EMS personnel.

$240 for Initial Certification / $165 for Recertification.
• Prerequisites: A valid BLS certification is required to take this course.

Mondays / Wednesdays / Fridays 8AM – 4PM (Optional 1-hour lunch adds 1 hour to the course length).

Who needs CPR or BLS certification?

Who should get an ACLS certification?

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is a certification recommended for doctors, nurses,paramedics and EMTs, dentists, medical assistants, and medical students. ACLS training is morespecific to medical professionals, as the skills require special medications and equipment that are notavailable to the public.

This ACLS certification course is approved by the American Heart Association and requires a valid Basic Life Support certification to participate & it will take 8 hours to receive your ACLS certificate.

How do I renew my CPR/BLS or ACLS Certification?

Renewing your certification is easy, you just need to retake a certification class. CPR/BLS certifications and ACLS certifications are valid for two years before expiration.

Ideally, you’ll want to renew your certification before it expires, but it’s no problem if you choose torenew after the expiration.

Both CPR/BLS and ACLS classes have 4-hour recertification times, though they are different classes.

Are the CPR/BLS and ACLS classes near me?

Our Stockton location is at 2027 W March Ln, Suite 2. Our Bakersfield location is at 2601 F St. Both locations are conveniently near major highways and various amenities. We are also willing to travel toyou, provided your site can meet our requirements. We charge a $100 travel fee for sites within 40miles.
