NCCT Exams

We are approved by the National Center of Competency Testing to administer host some exams.

PSI Exams

We are approved to host all exams provided by PSI, ATLAS, and TrueTalent.

NCCT Exams

Exams can be scheduled at www.ncctinc.com at least 14 days before the test date. We are a public site and you can locate our exam centers with the site codes 55044 (Stockton) and 57260 (Bakersfield).

We are approved to host certification exams for Medical Assistants, Medical Office Assistants, EKG/ECG Technicians, Phlebotomy Technicians. Surgical Technology, Insurance and Coding Specialists, Patient Care Technicians, Postsecondary Instructors, and Certified Home Health Aides.

PSI Exams
Exams can be scheduled at https://candidate.psiexams.com after submitting the appropriate paperwork or completing the necessary steps for your certification test. We are authorized to host exams on ATLAS and TrueTalent systems in Stockton, CA.

If you are an Altamont Healthcare graduate needing an SPD or ERT exam, you must submit yourapplication via mail by the PSI deadline to schedule your exam for the next testing period.

PSI Exams are held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8 AM to 12 PM with some exceptions. For more information regarding PSI, you may visit their website: psiexams.com

Life Support Training

Our Basic Life Support (BLS + CPR) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) courses are specially designed for healthcare workers so that you can be prepared to handle a life-threatening emergency at any time.

Basic Life Support & CPR

CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) is a required certification for most hospital jobs; you’ll learn the signs of someone that needs CPR, the correct CPR techniques, how to apply CPR to adults, children, and infants, how to use an AED machine, and so much more. This certification is all-purpose and can be used for many non-medical professions – firefighting, babysitting, teaching, and athletic coaching just to name a few. The BLS certification is valid for 1 year & must be renewed yearly.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

or ACLS is a required certification for healthcare professionals that deal with emergency situations. In this course, you’ll learn how to apply BLS principles to ACLS, Advanced Airway Management, team-based resuscitation techniques, and much more. Professions that may require this certification include nurses (RNs, NPs, LVNs), EMTs, paramedics, EKG techs, and others. BLS certification is a prerequisite for the ACLS course. The ACLS certification is valid for 2 years and accordingly must be renewed every 2 years.
